10-Day Returns For Timepieces:
Timepieces purchased online can be returned or exchanged within 10 days from when they are shipped or collected.
30-Day Returns For All Other Purchases:
All other online purchases can be returned or exchanged within 30 days from when they are shipped or collected.
On presentation of the original receipt, your purchases may be returned or exchanged at any of our store locations. Alternatively, you may elect shipping to our facility with all the original paperwork. All refunds must be credited to the same tender used for the original purchase. To return the online purchases through secure shipping service, please contact our client service team who will provide you the shipping label, free of cost*.
All returns or exchanges must be in new, unworn condition, with no scratches or markings, not sized or adjusted and in their original packaging and with warranty cards / certificated and instruction booklets.

Overall Condition: Very good condition overall. Case shows normal wear consistent with age and use. Dial and handset are in very good condition.
The future looked different in the 1970s.
Watchmakers were experimenting with new technologies, new materials, and increasingly bold designs that reflected the optimism of the Space Age. Few brands embraced that spirit more enthusiastically than Bulova, whose revolutionary Accutron line had already changed the course of horological history a decade earlier.
This particular Accutron dates to approximately 1973 and perfectly captures that era's fascination with both technology and design. Housed in a substantial 40mm gold-filled case, it combines the futuristic appeal of Bulova's famous tuning-fork movement with a dial unlike almost anything else in the company's catalog.
The star of the show is undoubtedly the dial itself. Finished in a textured silver-grey tone, it features a dramatic horizontal stripe running across its center, creating a distinctly graphic appearance that feels equal parts industrial design and modern art. Applied baton markers, a framed date aperture at 3 o'clock, and a Roman numeral day display at 9 o'clock further enhance the unconventional layout. The result is unmistakably 1970s—and all the better for it. This model even comes with an extra caseback.
Beneath the dial beats Bulova's celebrated Accutron Caliber 218 tuning-fork movement. Unlike traditional mechanical watches, the 218 uses a vibrating tuning fork powered by a battery and transistorized circuit, producing the smooth sweeping seconds hand and faint electronic hum that have made Accutrons beloved among collectors for generations. It was one of the most important technological breakthroughs in wristwatch history, bridging the gap between traditional mechanics and the quartz revolution that followed.
Today, Accutrons remain fascinating reminders of a future that almost was. Equal parts design object, technological milestone, and vintage wristwatch, they occupy a category all their own. No other watch hums quite like an Accutron. The epitome and best of the 1970s style!
